As long as you make healing an event, it will never be normal to you.

Anonymous asked: Basically, I've found myself in a bit of a tough descision.
A guy that I've only just met pretty much has recently opened up to me, showing his interest for religion and faith and asking me some challenging questions. Not trying to disprove me, but in sincerely looking for good answers. I won't say what it is, so that I can keep this as unbias as possible, but he...

Anonymous asked: "I left the ‘organized’ church in 2009"
What does that mean? Does that mean you don't go to an established church regularly? On that note, is it possible to be know God without going to church and reading the bible?

fireandflood-deactivated2011120 asked: I saw where you said you left the organized church in 2009, could you share some more about that with me? I've been going through some rough belief-sorting times and recently left the church I had been going to for a couple years now. I just can't stand all that they say and do, it's like a tease. my hopes were brought up so many times but the stuff they talk so much about lets me...

but some stuff really effing irritates me.
For example, the doctrine of cessationism (that miracles, signs, and wonders in the Bible were simply to prove the divinity of the performer of said miracles, and that the Body functioning in them ended with the early church) was not written by careful…

I'm sick of inferiority.
I'm sick of Christians.
And, most importantly, I'm sick of theology and arguments everyone posted on here.
I'm leaving. I just wanted to tell you that.

I’m tired of everything I do, think, and feel being extreme to extreme.
Constantly bouncing between black and white; this end of the spectrum to the other.
Constantly traveling from the lowest of valleys to the highest of mountaintops, and back again, over and over and over.
You’ll have lot more success in the Christian life if you stop trying to die to yourself and...

How to Manage Your Thought Life
A few weeks ago I asked this question:
What would go through your mind, if a complete stranger came up to you and started saying things like “Your best friend actually doesn’t like you, he/she doesn’t actually have your best interest at hand, he/she actually wants to destroy your reputation”?
lookeylue answered: I would say, “Thanks for letting me know…”, and continue...

Soooooooo apparently everyone in western Christianity believes in this worthless gospel because it is unanimous that we are “sons” and “children” of God, and we all unanimously agree that God is our Father?

Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making...

This false idea that it is impossible to go a day without sinning and that we’re all equally screwed up and no one can live holy has been propagated among Christianity, and it is a LIE.
God sanctifies us, and call me crazy, but yes, I DO think it’s possible to go a day without sinning. Yes, I DO think we grow in holiness. (And if spiritual leadership in the church is just as...
why so many Christians don't have hope and joy
(rant)
They live the majority of their Christian life learning how to endure suffering and coping with loss and then they spiritualize it to make themselves feel better, but most of it really is just people perishing because of a lack of knowledge.
They are taught to survive rather than being taught to overcome. They are taught coping strategies instead of strategic, winning, fighting tactics....
